By introducing a sleek timber-clad extension and reimagining the layout, the project creates a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. Bright, open, and inviting, this modern space truly enhances the way the home interacts with its garden and natural light.
Design by Kate Rayment Architecture, the design introduced a new timber clad contemporary extension to contrast the existing house, creating a better connection to the garden.
The layout was reconfigured in order to give a sense of open plan living and create views through the whole house.
In the centre of the home is the new open plan kitchen, dining and living space that is full of natural daylight utilised from multiple facades. This space is accessible to and from the rear garden.
